Earth Day paint job... free hand (by Jelani)!

Many years ago, I had the honor of photographing my friend Jane's first baby coming into this world (now a beautiful little 10 year old named Amelie).  Several years later, I got to photograph her second, Kai, joining us as well.  This year, it was my turn :-)  Jane spent an awesome May day with Jelani and me goofing around the park and house providing us with an incredible batch of family pregnancy photos.  Thanks, Jane!!

(Most of the photos below are from that May 2017 shoot.)

Getting in the pool and swimming laps allowed me to do some real exercise while pregnant.  It was a huge treat to move like my old self.

Jelani had been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to use pregnancy parking since day 1 (something I had never heard of) yet we weren't seeing any such designations in our usual parking lots; then on one of the first days I went off on an adventure without him, I finally found a parking space just for pregnant people (and seniors), lol.

I think that we will always be flip-flop people.
